Though the summery says that Chika pays a visit to host club, that is not the only thing that happens in this volume. The volume starts off with the host club kidnapping Kyoya and dragging him along to a Regional Products Exhibition at a local (commoner) department store. However he is still asleep when they get there so they just leave him propped up against a pillar and go exploring. Fortunately he runs into Haruhi, who he uses to rescue himself. Then in the next few chapters we are introduced not only to Hunny's little brother Chika, but also to Mori's little brother
Satoshi. It was really amusing seeing how Chika and Satoshi interact. Especially considering how Mori treats Hunny. Also I liked finding out how Tamaki recruited Hunny to the host club in the first place.
In the final chapter Haruhi's father as well as the girls from the Roberia Women's institute make an appearance. It's always fun seeing Haruhi dressed as a girl. Every time she appears out of her male drag it gets harder and harder to see how they mistook her for a boy in the first place.
There's even two extra episodes at the end. One is about the twins. It's really cute. You get to see them when they were little and find out how they became the manipulative teens they are today.
The second is another episode of Love Egoist. It's a continuation of an episode that was in a previous volume. It is the one with the student and the teacher she is in love with. Eh. I like the twins in this story, and the artwork is good, I just don't know how much I like the idea of the 25 year old teacher with the 17 year old student....Ok, to be honest I really don't like it. Sorry, maybe it's a culture thing. It's not even the age difference thing, it's the whole she's 17 he's 25, he's suppose to be her teacher.
Other than that I really enjoyed the rest of the book. The art work was excellent. The story had me laughing out loud in a LOT of places, and I think I have become addicted to the characters themselves. Plus I really like how at the end they have the little notes explaining some of the Japanese references. It really helps make the book that much better. Can't wait for the next volume, I just can't get enough!
